As we make our transition into the beautiful month of June, the wheel of the year turns once again as we fast approach the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. The Summer Solstice represents the peak of the sun’s journey, a time of maximum light and illumination. In turn inspiring us to embrace our own inner light, helping us to shed old patterns and beliefs that are no longer serving us and to connect with our own cycles, honouring wherever we are, wherever we find ourselves. Remembering that we are in a constant state of flow, nothing is ever truly stagnant unless it is us that is choosing not to let go through fear of what would happen if we did. At this time, we are reminded by the seasons and the harmonious flow of all nature and Mother Earth that in letting go we are creating the space for the new energy to come forth, bringing with it the insight, knowledge and wisdom that can only come by having received what came before it. Knowing that the next chapter will reveal even more, so that everything that preceded it becomes clearer, allowing us to see the bigger picture, and how in fact everything is always working out for us. Yes, the seasons show us that we are constantly in a space of death and re birth, endings and beginnings, but always holding within them the promise of what’s yet to come.

The beautiful Archangel Azreal connects with all processes of transition, known as the benevolent Angel of death. He comes forward to remind us that death is not to be feared but understood and respected as an extremely important part of life. Something we will all be touched by, leaving us ever changed and ultimately in our own Divine timing something we will all experience for ourselves. Archangel Azrael brings messages of peace, understanding and the pathway to acceptance from the higher perspective. In short to awaken the Divine knowing within us that we all come from unconditional love, and to unconditional love we shall all return.
During our incarnation on this planet Azrael reminds us that we are all here for the soul’s growth, and that what ever challenges, trauma, abuse, relationships or lack of relationships we may have experienced in this lifetime, it’s because our soul has chosen those specific experiences to grow through. Further yet, Archangel Azrael shares that in truth what ever challenge it is that we may be experiencing is because our soul has chosen to master the virtue within it, period. Of course, it doesn’t always feel that way when were in it and I make no excuses for how others may have behaved, but when you look back on your life you will see the patterns and how they’ve shown up repeatedly until you’ve consciously made a change. These decisions will always come from an emotive place and ultimately will have a positive impact on your wellbeing, your self-worth and how your choices will be different moving forward. This is something we must become present to as self-awareness is everything, without it we remain in a space of disempowerment, unable to allow the new cycles in. On that note Archangel Azrael also reminds us that we are living our lives in alignment with Divine timing, and that we all have several sacred exit points in the space of our lifetimes, no matter how long or short they may be. Regardless of how it may appear on the surface, when we do make that final transition it’s because it was either our time, or our soul’s choice, always.
This is also one of the biggest opportunities for growth, for the one making their transition and for the people connected to them. In truth it’s their final gift to us, as experiencing the physical absence of the ones we love is hugely painful and one of the hardest things we’ll ever go through, but the very experience itself is another opportunity for our growth, as these experiences change us inherently, but it’s up to us what we take away from it. It’s not just the passing itself, but also how that person passes that is as much their ‘gift’ to us and by that, I mean however it came about, whether expected or unexpected, peacefully or tragically (also their soul’s choice). Within each potential circumstance there will be a different set of emotions that come with it to work through. For example, is there forgiveness needed?
Are you holding onto resentment? Are you holding onto guilt? Do you need to forgive yourself? etc. All of these aspects are all part and parcel of what our soul chose to experience and grow through. Whether we do or not is our choice, but that is the very purpose within the space of the experience.
Archangel Azrael also wants to comfort us by letting us know that our loved ones also (on a soul level) choose when they will pass. So, whether you were there with them or not, even if you missed them by minutes, were ‘meant’ to be there or were with them all night and when you took a quick break, that’s when they passed, please know that this is what their soul chose and that everything is as it’s meant to be.Archangel Azrael wants to unburden us of all the “should’s, would’s and could’s, if’s, but’s and maybe’s” surrounding the passing of our loved ones and find solace in the knowing and acceptance that there’s nothing we could of done differently.
Archangel Azrael gave me the analogy of life as a scene of a beautiful cloudy day over the ocean. We start off as a collective in the clouds and then when it begins to rain, that is when we get to experience the illusion of separation, as we have our own individual experience within the journey down as a raindrop (representing our lives) and then eventually ending up in the ocean back as part of the collective and one with source. In time, evaporating back up into the clouds and doing it all over again and again etc. Dr Wayne Dyer once said, “we are all spiritual beings having a human experience.” I believe that within this experience we are offered so many opportunities for expansion, often disguised as pain, difficulty and challenge. It’s from this perspective that we can see our challenges are actually happening for us, not to us, inspiring us to end the cycles and to make a different choice.
A couple of years ago I was blessed to have the opportunity to spend time with a dear friend just before her Divine time of making her transition. As she reflected back on her life, of having raised her family, her past and present relationships, the challenges, the conflicts, the joy and the gratitude, the conclusion she had come to at the end her life was that only love truly matters. This insight was her gift to me and now I share it with you. In honour of her and all of our loved ones who have passed away and to the promise I made, to always remember her message and to live it to the best of my ability I now invite you to do the same. To keep this beautiful message in your heart and to do your best to live this truth every day, always remembering that only love truly matters.
Call on Archangel Azrael to support you with all aspects of loss, death and transitions. If your heart is heavy with grief, his beautiful healing presence can help us find peace. He encourages us to speak to our loved ones who have passed as they can ALWAYS hear us. When we do this, we are in a more receptive state to see the signs that they leave for us all the time to let us know that they are with us. This can be in form of a feather, coin, ladybird, dragonfly, robin, a song on the radio or anything significant to you. Azrael reminds us that our loved ones will always be invested in our lives and that the cords of love and never be broken or destroyed not even by physical death.
