THE BLOCK

How I released years of emotional, financial, and spiritual blocks — and discovered that true success isn’t about what you achieve, but how you feel.

If you saw me now, you’d hardly believe the person I used to be.

These days, I finish work and head out into nature. Just walking, listening to music, letting the day land inside me. It started off as something simple — a moment of satisfaction, some space to think and breathe. But the more I let myself appreciate those walks, the more something opened up. Appreciation turned into bliss. And bliss, over time, became something even more powerful — a kind of euphoric presence I can only describe as spiritual. At times, it feels like energy surging out of the top of my head — like a kundalini release. It’s ecstatic. It’s powerful. It’s freedom.

But it wasn’t always like this.

There was a time when I was completely blocked — in every part of my life. Relationships were painful. Work drained me. Finances were tight. My sense of self-worth was constantly under attack from within. I lived in fear. I was emotionally stuck on the lowest end of the scale. And I didn’t even know how bad it had gotten, because that was just life as I knew it.

The roots of that were deep. I’d come through years of childhood abuse — physical, sexual, emotional. That kind of early pain doesn’t just disappear. It rewires your expectations. It makes suffering feel normal. And yet, some quiet part of me always knew life could be better.

Eventually, everything hit a breaking point. One day, I said it out loud: “This is absolute horseshit.” That wasn’t a cry for help — it was a line in the sand. And right behind that line was a deeper truth: “I’m the common denominator.” Not in a self-blaming way — but in an empowered way. I knew that if I was the one creating this experience, I could also be the one to change it.

So I made the shift.

I stopped chasing career status or financial milestones. I let go of the idea that success was something I had to earn or prove. Instead, I started caring more than anything about how I felt. My emotional state became my number one priority. And that changed everything.

I began focusing deliberately on what I wanted. Every morning, I’d start my day by listening to Abraham Hicks or watching something positive on YouTube, setting a tone of positive expectation for the day. At the end of each day, I’d reflect, appreciate, and build emotional momentum in the direction I wanted to go. Sundays became a sacred rhythm — a sound bath practice where I’d focus intensely on a particular desire. Not from need, but from alignment.

And what I noticed was this: the more energy I gave to the wanted, the more clearly both the wanted and the unwanted showed up around that subject. Life would mirror it back with pinpoint clarity. And that gave me the choice — to shift my attention fully, deliberately, onto what I wanted and refuse to give energy to the unwanted anymore.

That determination — that consistent practice of choosing alignment over resistance — is what turned everything around.

Now? I live on the other side of those blocks. I don’t feel stuck. I don’t feel like I’m at the mercy of anything. And if something unwanted comes up, I move through it with clarity and ease.

The things I used to call success — money, achievement, status — no longer define me. For me, real success is this:

I feel good.

I feel free.

I feel powerful.

I feel myself.

I walk through my life in joy. I live in alignment. That’s the kind of wealth I never knew was possible.

And now, I want to share that with anyone who’s ready.

You’re not broken. You’re just misaligned. And your life — no matter how blocked it might feel — can shift.
