Abundance – It’s not so much what you have that matters, it what youdo with it that counts.

Healthy habits for creating an abundant life. We all have habits, some good and some not so good…

The secret to having an abundant life is to create daily habits that attract good, positive people, and experiences to us, so that it beccomes a natural habit for us to create the life we want, wish or desire.




I have listed here some positive habits for you to practice every day, to encourage positive thinking and action.

Focus

Start by focusing on what you do have and being grateful for it. By focusing on what you do have means you shall attract more.

Abundance needs attention, so focus and appreciate what you have already. Focus on the people you love and who love you, your good health, your comfortable home, the job you love, etc., etc.

Daydreaming

Start using your imagination for creating the life you want. We all create with our minds and as children we have an active imagination, so much so, we imagine all sorts of things for our future. We never question it. It is only as we get older that we stop being creative in this way and it is usually because someone has told us that daydreaming is a childish thing to do and not for adults.

Keep your thoughts as positive and present as possible.

Your mind is your biggest asset or your worst obstacle. Use it to build and improve your life and the lives of people around you. Imagine the the lives of people around you. Imagine the positive and it will come.

Live in the now

Living in the present moment is fundamental to creating positive habits. What has happened and may happen loses sight of what is happening. We only ever experience anything in the present moment. Use all your senses in the moment to fully experience it.

Honour your life

Don’t compare, judge, blame or feel sorry for yourself or anyone else. Tend to your own needs and wants instead of focusing on what others have after all there is more than enough to go round. Create, nurture

and invest in your own life as a way to honour it.

Honesty is always the best policy

Be really honest with yourself, it is the only way to change something. Become aware, acknowledge it, see it as it is, not worse than it is. Look your fears, limitations and blockages in the eye. Look at what works

well and maintain it, and what doesn’t work well, change it, or let it go.

Your perception

Your perception on the world will determine how it perceives you and what it brings you. Challenges can be seen as just that or an opportunity to change. For instance, if you lose your job, you can see it as a disaster,

or as a new beginning, an ideal opportunity to change your job becauseit wasn’t really working for you anymore anyway, or to start your own business.

Be empowered and you will empower others

Tell empowering stories of your own life, because empowering stories create empowering situations. They also remind us of how we have overcome hardship and challenges for the better.

In a nutshell journal and practice the following everyday

• Focus on what you already have

• Imagine the life you want as if you have it now

• Do a daily journal and give thanks for your day even before you have experienced it

• Take any negative thoughts write them down and make them positive

• Feel the fear and do it anyway – Susan Jeffers – the universe loves action. Deal with any fear, or negative response as it comes up and override it

• Tell empowering stories, with you as the hero or heroine

• Replace words and phrases you may say out loud or to yourself… for instance ‘I can’t afford it’ or ‘Never in a million years’ with ‘How can I make this possible?’

• Surround yourself with positive people. Not always easy, but the energy that abundant and positive people give out is better for you in the long run.
